Photo Scavenger Hunt

Love

I think animals give love without thinking. They have unconditionally

love and I know my pets will never stop loving me.

Contemplation

This is my dog here. I was doing homework and I feel someone staring at me

and I turned back and I saw the most sweetest looks in it's face.

He was calm, just contemplating me.

Warning!

I took this picture before I left Mexico.

Cold

What a best way to see it is cold outside when your car window is like this.

Hot

After a hot shower, my mirror goes like this.

High point

I was thinking about tall things and I saw this jiraffe in my bedroom

and I thought: why not?

Familiar

My country, my flag, my costumes.

All are familiar to me. The life I left behind.

Too much

I was eating breakfast and after I took out my tamale of the

microwave I found this.

Too much delicious meat in this tamale that it is ripped.

12 midnight

For me this means: Only one light and reading time in bed.

The end.

For me it means getting on the airplane again and finish this crazy adventure

of exchange. The end of this other life in a year.

Three

I don't like number 3. I don't know why so to represent this I took a picture

of the 3 beatles. Imagine only 3 beatles ,that is impossible.

Get out three nobody likes you.

Electric

I am so addicted to computer, ipod, electronic stuff in general. So sometimes I feel I have

this wire to conect myself to the computer.

Sharp

This is my half of a necklace I have. Somebody has the other part. But it looks incomplete

and that sometimes is sharp for my feelings.

Red

What else than school colors? Red looks very poweful everywhere.

Intimidating

Everytime I use my rotary blazer at school everybody look at me

like I am intimidating or something. Pins scared people.

New/Old

When you grow older and older toys seem really old and like a memory

but for kids toys are always going to be new.

My best of 2013

This picture is special for me because it represents my exchange. That day I was depressed because I was homesick and I really wanted to go home. It has been very hard but I was staring at my rotary jacket and I realized it is worth it. This picture was to capture that moment and to let go that feeling.

That day I was feeling angry. All this months with many people making jokes of my country and making jokes of me. Mexico is not what you believe, is not the people you see here, not how you see it in the news. It is a steryotype that many people can't let go easily. I felt like this everytime, like having this paper in my chest saying: Hi I am Mexican. I still got this feeling for many people, telling about my country is not easy. Is not easy to change someone minds only with one person.

This was in our trip to California. And this was a simple moment of exchange students jumping that I wanted to save. That smiles, that happiness. We are different, we want to change the world. We want to share everybody our country and we live the craziest things. This photo brings me a smile back eveytime I see it . The shadows turned out so awesome I can't believe it. It shows young, it shows a part of me.
